Our History
San Diego Spine & Rehab was established in San Diego in 1993 with one mission: to treat individuals who suffer from acute, chronic, and disabling pain. Whether it is pain you're experiencing from an acute injury, playing a sport, being involved in an accident, or from a chronic problem, our team of pain management doctors can help. They treat conditions caused by physical or emotional stress, trauma, arthritis, spinal stenosis or a herniated disc(s) located in the neck or lower back.

San Diego Spine & Rehab’s pain management facility is a unique and comprehensive office, providing extensive diagnostic and therapeutic services in one location. The clinical cornerstone of the facility is its multidisciplinary team consisting of pain specialists which benefits the patient, employer, and insurer. This approach assures clinical excellence, cost effectiveness, and most importantly, compassionate and effective pain treatment. Regularly scheduled "interdisciplinary pain team" consultations promote the most efficient use of the patient's treatment plan, and a quicker, more complete and permanent recovery.
All of the specially-trained health care professionals at San Diego Spine & Rehab are dedicated to providing each and every patient with the highest quality pain-focused medical care available to treat their painful condition. The most recent and advanced diagnostic technologies coupled with the latest and individualized medical care including trigger point injections, pharmacological, physical, neurological, orthopedic, chiropractic, and massage therapy treatments diagnose and treat chronic conditions successfully.
Our goal is to achieve the most optimal level of functionality for all patients by providing timely, efficient, and thorough care. Patients are encouraged to be active participants in their own care and patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation is an essential part of our program. In order to promote continued success, we also offer advanced care. Our San Diego physical therapy will provide stable monitoring of the long-term effects of the treatment and prescribes additional therapy as needed, on an individual basis.
Patients referred to our program soon after the onset of pain have the benefit of an early diagnosis, with immediate treatment preventing "chronic pain syndrome," and minimizing permanent disability, depression, and drug dependency. A promptly treated patient returns to a productive life and workforce more quickly, saving resources for themselves, their employer, their insurance company, and the government.
